Caloundra is a coastal town at the southern end of the Sunshine Coast in southeast Queensland, north of Brisbane. It's one of those spots that works harder than it looks: you get two different water environments within reach — the sheltered flat water of Pumicestone Passage and an open ocean beach — which means more options depending on conditions, skill level, and what you're in the mood to ride.
