Teknikite operates as a specialized kiteboarding instruction facility at Monteynard-Avignonet Lake, approximately 30km south of Grenoble. The location offers outstanding wind reliability, with average thermal breezes of about 15 knots on most days, qualifying it as France's most consistently windy landlocked water body. The school employs a distinctive remote-guided teaching approach, with instruction delivered via radio from a chase boat, permitting individualized supervision of small training groups. Instructor Eric Jourdan combines 30 years of experience at the location with professional qualifications in sailing and kitesurfing. All required equipment, including safety gear and contemporary boards from quality manufacturers, is supplied.
