The bay opens westward; the summer north-to-northwest Meltemi arrives side-shore and generates 15–20 kt conditions in the afternoon. Shallow, sandy bay with warm water; kitesurfing concentrated at the less crowded northern end away from the main swimming area. Intermediate level; crowded in peak tourist season so good kite-management is essential. Season June–September.
