Anda sits on Bohol's northeastern coastline, a long arc of white sand facing directly into the Amihan — the reliable northeast trade wind that makes this corner of the Philippines one of its more underrated kite destinations. Tagbilaran airport is roughly an hour's drive away; the road brings you through inland Bohol before the beach opens ahead of you. Park at the beach approach and the launch is right there. The shore faces northeast at around 050°, putting it square in the Amihan's path from November through April. Wind runs 10–25 knots through this window, with the usable kite arc stretching from 320° to 140° — a wide band that brings the trade wind in on a cross-onshore angle rather than dead straight on. This is the reliable season; outside it, conditions become significantly less consistent. Water character shifts with the tide. At low tide, Anda offers shallow, flat water that works well for progression: beginners building confidence, intermediates drilling transitions, foilers hunting smooth surface.
