W Beach sits on the northern coast of Al Khor, a city in the northeast of Qatar, roughly an hour's drive from Doha along the coastal highway. The spot is a lagoon beach — flat, shallow, and sheltered from the south — which makes it a natural fit for the northerly winds that roll across the peninsula through much of the year. There's no indication of gear rental or a kite school at this location, so come fully prepared: your own kit, spares, and enough water for a session in Qatar's climate. Even the cooler months can feel warm by mid-afternoon, and June sessions arrive with real humidity — hydration is not optional. W Beach is low-key and functional. The campground is what sets it apart from most Qatar spots — it makes multi-day sessions realistic without needing to drive back to a hotel each evening.
