About

Founded by Carlos Cornieles, Kite the Gorge teaches kiteboarding at Hood River in the Columbia River Gorge, Oregon. The operation features IKO-certified instruction using professional Slingshot boards and equipment. Instructors provide systematic training in foundational techniques, safety procedures, and modern kitesurfing methods, enabling participants to achieve worldwide certification and independently ride in a range of wind conditions.
