Kite schools, beach bars, and hotel accommodation sit within walking distance, and road access is clean. Orientation on arrival is simple — follow the kite traffic. The usable wind arc runs from 225° to 45°, covering a broad sweep of directions from southwest through westerly, northwesterly, and north all the way to northeast. For a coastal launch, that range means the spot stays viable across a good variety of daily conditions. The beach faces generally northwest, putting most of these angles somewhere between cross-onshore and sideshore — useful orientations that keep riders working upwind without sending them straight out to sea. Water texture shifts with wind direction: southwesterly winds push in a rolling chop, while directions from north and northeast tend to lay the surface down into something cleaner and more organised. Three kite schools operate close by — Armando's kite shack, Aruba Active Vacations, and Aruba Kitesurfing School — which signals how accessible this spot is for riders still building their skills. Equipment rental and instruction are genuinely available here, not just advertised on a website. That said, you will get more out of the water if you arrive with enough board time to self-rescue and manage your own lines in what can be a busy lineup. Post-session, the options are solid. Antilla Beach Bar, Bugaloe, and Bar25 Aruba are all close for food and drinks.
