Water entry is straightforward, with a flat-to-choppy zone that suits a wide range of ability levels. Wind here is driven predominantly by NE and E directions, with gusts typically in the 12–22 knot range. The usable kite window runs from North through East to South — so you are working onshore to side-onshore from the dominant NE and E direction, which is generally forgiving for learning and progressing. That said, onshore conditions always demand competent self-rescue skills. Get blown downwind far enough and the beach will catch you, but know your limits before heading out in the upper end of that range. Water character is flat to choppy depending on wind strength and fetch. Lighter winds typically give you flat water close to shore; stronger NE sessions build more texture across the bay.
