ION CLUB Safaga is an established water sports center serving kitesurfers, windsurfers, and foilers on Egypt's Red Sea. The facility has been operating since 1991 and employs internationally certified instructors through VDWS and RYA programs. Nearby Soma Bay provides protected, shallow water with consistent sideoffshore morning winds—conditions well-suited for all experience levels. The center offers structured lessons, equipment rental, and specializes in downwind sessions to nearby islands. Equipment includes current DUOTONE gear. Daily operations run 8:30 AM to 5 PM year-round, with optimal conditions March through October.
