The long open beach faces west-northwest into the Mediterranean; the Meltemi arrives side-onshore from the north-northwest at 15–20 kt on typical summer days. Sandy bottom, shallow entry; peaceful atmosphere compared to the busier northern spots. Multiple kite schools offer beginner instruction. Season June–September; similar wind conditions to Fanes and Kremasti but less commercial.
