As the angle rotates toward westerly and north-westerly, conditions often settle into something more forgiving. Before you inflate, take a moment to read any shoreline features that might create wind shadows on the approach, and keep an eye on the tide — it can affect both the available beach width and water depth across the riding area. On the water, the riding is open and gives intermediate and above riders plenty of room to build speed and work transitions. The wide arc means you will rarely be on the fence about whether the wind qualifies, but matching kite size to the actual day rather than the theoretical window always pays off here as anywhere.
