The wind runs 12–22 knots on a typical trade day and blows across a wide usable arc from north through east to south (0°–180°). That arc is generous enough that when the wind clocks a few degrees either way you're still flying. Check what the day's direction is before you rig — an E wind sits squarely in the middle of the window, an NE is equally solid. It's consistent enough to plan your session around. The launch is from an open sandy beach, which is straightforward compared to rocky or reef-edge entries you find elsewhere in the region. The reef to the north provides some wave buffering, so the water character closer to the launch tends toward manageable chop rather than the rolling Caribbean swell that makes other sites on this coast harder to work. That flatter water and consistent breeze makes this a genuine intermediate-friendly spot — you get enough wind to work on riding, carving, and early freestyle without fighting conditions that are trying to punish you. Schools and rental operations are accessible at the spot, so if you're arriving on a kite holiday without gear, or you want a local coach to sharpen your upwind game, the infrastructure is there. For advanced riders, this is a comfortable session rather than a test of limits.
