About

Learn2kite with Mink is a small IKO-certified kitesurf school run by instructor Mink, teaching since 2015 across five Frisian IJsselmeer spots — Mirns, Workum, Makkum, Hindeloopen and Kornwerderzand — with the day's location picked to match the wind. Lessons are private (1-on-1) or duo (1-on-2) only; there are no group classes, so coaching stays personal. Everything is included: kite, board, wetsuit, harness and a helmet with Bluetooth intercom for live coaching on the water, plus GoPro footage to review afterwards. The school takes complete beginners through to advanced riders, and the 3-day and 5-day courses include an IKO certificate. Lessons run in Dutch or English. Booking is online; sessions are wind-dependent, with rescheduling or a refund when conditions don't cooperate.
