About

Boerderijcamping De Braamberg is a small family farm campsite at Murnserdijk 48, Mirns (De Fryske Marren, Friesland) — roughly 200 m across the road from the Mirnser Klif kitesurf launch on the IJsselmeer. It is the closest overnight accommodation to the kitespot and a popular base for kiters visiting the IJsselmeer. The site has 25 grass pitches for tents, caravans and motorhomes, plus 10 hardened camper pitches open year-round (365 days). A pipowagen (glamping shepherd's wagon) is also available. Facilities include showers, toilets, a washing machine, refrigerator, 6-amp electric hook-ups and WiFi near the canteen. Camper pitches include water drainage, drinking water tap and toilet/shower access (shower token €0.50); cost from €19 per pitch (up to 2 persons) plus €2 tourist tax per person per night. Grass camping runs April through October. The surrounding Gaasterland forests offer cycling and walking routes; the kitesurf beach — with its sandy launch, shallow IJsselmeer water and Paviljoen 't Mar on site — is a five-minute walk.
