The approach is straightforward, and parking near the beach and the Delta Park visitor area is available on-site. Rigging is typically uncomplicated — flat ground, open space, and no woodland or urban clutter to contend with. That said, on summer weekends the island draws a broader tourist crowd attracted by the Delta Park centre, so arriving early gives you a cleaner pick of rigging and launch space. The spot runs on southerly winds, with a usable kite window from south-east through to south-west (135° to 225°). South is the sweet direction. When those winds arrive — and in Zeeland they come through reliably, particularly in the shoulder seasons — the open-water fetch builds a consistent, workable chop rather than the chaotic swell you'd find on a fully exposed ocean beach.
