Getting here typically means driving south from Lisbon toward the coast and following signs to the beach. Parking is usually available near the beach access, though summer weekends fill up fast — arrive early if you're hitting it in peak season. Before you rig, walk to the water's edge and read what's in front of you; Atlantic beaches shift character between tides and the sand shelf can change more than it looks from the car park. The usable wind arc runs from 203° to 337°, meaning SW through W to NW all sit in the kite window. SW is the classic Atlantic direction, often thermally assisted in the warmer months and carrying real ocean fetch behind it.
