The open Atlantic exposure means conditions can be unforgiving without a solid foundation; on calmer days it opens up for newer riders who've done their basics. Watch the standard coastal hazards: side-shore conditions when wind direction varies, other beach users on busy days, and anything offshore in the kiting lane.
