The Txingudi bay setting softens the swell compared to fully exposed Atlantic beaches, so you're not typically dealing with the heavy close-out sets that would push this into advanced territory. Flatwater and light chop are more common than heavy surf conditions, which makes it a solid progression spot for riders past the beginner stage. For facilities, the beach area has Curren Surf School on hand if you need instruction, a lesson, or local guidance — a useful resource if you're riding here for the first time. San Sebastián is just across the border, putting a full city's worth of food options, gear shops, and accommodation within easy reach.
