Agelochori sits in a stretch of coastal wetland 37 kilometres southwest of Thessaloniki, where Angelochori village backs onto a small circular lagoon that opens out towards the Thermaic Gulf. The approach from Thessaloniki is direct: head southwest along the coast and follow signs to Angelochori. Parking is available close to the beach. The water is shallow and flat throughout the lagoon and bay — one of the more beginner-friendly setups in northern Greece. Advanced kiters will find the conditions clean and consistent, though not technically demanding — no ocean swell, limited chop, and a manageable wind window.
