Offshore conditions at this spot are rated intermediate to advanced — you need reliable upwind body drag and solid self-rescue before heading out in the Maestrale. If it catches you downwind of the launch, you need the skills to get back under your own power. Around the small island of Su Giudeu, the channel can produce deflected gusts and irregular surface texture. Worth a moment's assessment before you head that direction.
