Dar Bouazza sits on a sandy Atlantic beach roughly 20 kilometres south of central Casablanca, tucked into the coastal suburb that shares its name. This is the city's own kite spot — a peri-urban stretch of shore where the Casablanca kite community heads when they can't justify the drive south to Essaouira and the afternoon thermal decides to show up. Getting here is straightforward from Casablanca: follow the coast road south out of the city, and the suburb announces itself with a mix of residential blocks and beach-facing cafés. Parking is typically found along the coastal access roads. The beach itself is sandy and open to the Atlantic, which keeps the surface manageable on most sessions. The wind story here is thermal and afternoon-driven. In spring and summer, a N/NW sea breeze builds along this stretch of coast as the land heats up. It typically arrives in the early-to-mid afternoon and can fill in nicely — but it's lighter and less reliable than the legendary Essaouira trade wind.
