Getting here involves a road run up through Cebu followed by a ferry crossing to the island — not a quick hop, but that journey is part of what keeps Bantayan relaxed and the beach uncrowded by Philippine standards. Santa Fe's kite beach faces east into the Visayan Sea, and that orientation is the whole story. When the Amihan — the northeast trade wind — runs between November and April, it delivers consistent 15–20 knots across a stretch of reef-protected water that stays impressively flat. The usable wind arc runs from roughly northeast to south-southeast, tracking the length of the beach comfortably. The reef offshore absorbs the swell before it reaches the kiting zone, so what you're working with is clean, manageable flat water rather than confused chop.
