Skill-wise, treat this spot with respect rather than assuming a resort beach equals an easy session. The wind arc is relatively narrow, the Adriatic can generate confused chop quickly when conditions build, and kiting in proximity to a public beach demands solid kite control and reliable self-rescue. Competent intermediates through advanced riders will feel at home; beginners are better off at a more open, supervised location before attempting this one. Getting there is uncomplicated — Portorož's resort infrastructure means the coast road is easy to find and gear transport is manageable.
