Sarıgerme Beach runs for 8 km along Turkey's southern Aegean coast, sitting between Fethiye to the northwest and Marmaris to the east in Muğla province. If you are flying in, Dalaman Airport is the closest entry point at around 15 km from the beach, and shuttle transfers from Dalaman are available, making the logistics manageable. The beach itself is wide and sandy with shallow water close to shore. Rock hazards are minimal, which keeps the risk profile clean. The shallows mean that a wipeout or an unexpected kite drop stays low-drama — you are landing in shallow sandy water, not on rocks, which matters when the wind picks up or you are still sorting your technique.
