Wingfoil instruction does happen here, but it's conducted via jet ski — a workaround that keeps lessons compliant with local regulations. If you need equipment or want to connect with local expertise before or after your session, Absolute Kite Boarding operates a kite school and gear shop out of Salins de Giraud, the nearest village a few kilometres from the beach. The water character at Beauduc suits riders who want room to move. The Camargue coast is exposed and the flat terrain around the launch means nothing interrupts the onshore flow — no hills, no tree lines, nothing to create turbulence or shadow the wind. That same openness means conditions can shift, and a spot this exposed rewards riders who read the forecast carefully and keep an eye on the sky after launching. Come with some water experience behind you; this is not a place to figure out the basics. Salins de Giraud is a working village built around the salt industry, and it covers your post-session needs without fuss. For food, Chez Nina, La Camarque, Les Saladelles, Le By Pass, and Pizza KBO give you several options. Bar des Sports and L'Amitié handle the drinks side of things. If you're staying over, Les Bois Flottés offers accommodation, and the Aire de camping-car de Salin-de-Giraud is set up for motorhomes — which suits the self-sufficient crowd that tends to gravitate toward spots like this. The approach to Beauduc from Salins de Giraud is part of the experience: the road gives way to rougher terrain before reaching the beach, and a vehicle with reasonable ground clearance makes the journey more straightforward. Plan your timing and pack what you need, because there are no facilities on the beach itself. Once you arrive and rig up, the launch area opens wide. Sandy shoreline, clean entry, plenty of space. The spot has a raw, unpolished character that a particular type of kiter actively seeks out — the kind who would rather have the dunes to themselves than share a crowded pontoon.
