Three-kilometre sandy beach on the southwest coast of Naxos between Pounta and Glyfada, 30 minutes from Naxos Airport. The north-to-northwest Meltemi blows side-shore all day, every day in high season at 11–26 kt. Rarely crowded despite its excellent conditions; water can be choppy in full Meltemi. Naxos Kitesurf Club operates here and at nearby Glyfada. Intermediate level; gusty conditions possible. Season June–September; excellent conditions June–July and September.
