The beach is wide and sandy, and the headland's orientation puts it squarely in the path of the SE trade wind that drives the May–October season here. Getting to Seger is simple — it's adjacent to Kuta Lombok village, which keeps the approach short and the logistics easy. The launch area is one of this spot's strongest cards. A wide sandy shore gives you genuine room to rig and lay out lines, which matters when you're working with larger kites or just want space to concentrate. The SE trade wind comes in from the 130–155° range, hitting the beach side-onshore — a clean, forgiving angle that makes the launch process straightforward and puts you on an upwind track as you get moving. Wind runs 12–22 knots across the season, which covers a useful spread from casual cruising sessions to more demanding conditions. On the water, Seger offers two distinct flavours. The inside zone is flatter and more sheltered — well suited to riders building confidence, or for anyone who wants to dial in their technique without committing to the wave section straight away. Further out, Indian Ocean swell generates a genuine wave-riding option: fun and engaging rather than demanding, but enough character to reward a surfboard kite setup and some time out in the break. As with any headland beach, conditions shift with tide and wind strength. The area around the headland deserves some attention before you head out — currents near these features are worth reading. Nothing extraordinary, but a look at the water before you launch is standard practice. Facilities in Kuta Lombok are solid. The SE trade wind is reliably present through these months, and Seger's crowd levels stay noticeably more manageable than some of the better-known spots on this coast.
