About Rewa (Cypel Rewski)

Cypel Rewski is the sandy spit that juts from the mainland shore of Puck Bay at Rewa, a small village north of Gdynia in the Pomerania region of northern Poland. The spit itself is the defining feature — it extends into the bay, offering a launch area with water on multiple sides and direct access to some of the flattest, most protected kite water on the Polish coast. If you have been dealing with the open Baltic's chop and swell, the bay here feels like a genuinely different discipline. The shore faces roughly east-northeast into the bay, creating a generous usable wind arc from 330° all the way through to 150°. That means northwest, north, northeast, and east winds all arrive cross-shore or onshore relative to the spit — a clean window with no sketchy offshore angles pushing you out to sea. Winds typically run in the 10–25-knot range, with lighter days for freeride on bigger kites and fully powered sessions available when the wind fills in properly. Water character is the headline. Puck Bay is shallow and flat, with small waves that rarely build into anything demanding — you are riding well inside the bay, sheltered from open coast swell. That makes the launch at Rewa unusually forgiving: beginners working on water starts get consistent conditions without the anxiety of a breaking shore; intermediates can run transitions and jibes on predictable water; advanced riders have a clean platform for unhooking, board-off work, or anything that benefits from stable conditions underfoot. Foilers will appreciate the flat surface too. The approach to Rewa is straightforward — it is a compact village on the bay shore and the spit is the obvious focal point when you arrive. Parking near the waterfront is available, though the spot attracts a mix of kiters, windsurfers, and general beachgoers in summer, and weekends in peak season can get busy. Getting in early on sunny summer days gives you a better pick of space and a calmer setup area. The post-session options are varied.
