Sire Beach occupies the northwest tip of Lombok, positioned with a direct view across the water toward Gili Trawangan. The beach faces west-northwest, placing it squarely in the path of the northwest monsoon — October through March — when winds push in from around 280 to 320 degrees at 12 to 20 knots. That direction puts the wind broadly onshore given the beach's orientation, which means consistent pressure into your kite and the shore stays upwind if conditions change unexpectedly.
